On June 6, President Trump signed into law the VA Maintaining Internal Systems and Strengthening Integrated Outside Networks Act of 2018, (S. 2372), known as the VA MISSION Act. This bipartisan legislation consolidated the Department of Veterans Affairs' community care programs into one permanent Veterans Community Care Program and made several other changes to improve the delivery of care for veterans and their families.
