Model Letter: Comments on Transparency in Coverage Proposed Rule

The Departments of the Treasury, Labor, and Health and Human Services (collectively, the departments) propose to require health plans to provide their enrollees individualized information on their expected cost-sharing liability for a health care event, as well as other important information about their coverage. In addition, health plans would be required to publicly disclose their negotiated rates and allowed amounts for all in-network and out-of-network providers.
