Diversity Dialogue Webinar: Institutional Strategies to Support LGBTQ Patients and Families

For the past decade, Dr. Ehrenfeld has advocated on behalf of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) individuals as chair of the Massachusetts Committee on LGBT Health, chair of the Massachusetts General Hospital LGBT Employee Resource Group, as a member of the Board Committee on Quality at Fenway Community Health Center, and as a member of the Association of American Medical College’s LGBTI Liaison Group. This webinar will discuss how in his current role directing the Vanderbilt Program for LGBTI Health, Dr. Ehrenfeld will help participants understand the unique challenges and health issues facing the LGBTQ community. The presentation will introduce attendees with strategies and tools for how their institutions can best support LGBTQ patients and provide them with quality, compassionate care.
